STABLE PRECISION SHUNT RESISTORS
PRODUCT LIST > Resistor >

Several types of sensors require external end user installed shunt resistors to complete a circuit. These external resistors are used with current measurement, resistance measurement, thermistor measurement, RTD measurement, ¼ bridge strain gages, and ½ bridge strain gages. Below are several shunt resistor products which are sold in bags of 8 each. One cannot mix different values in one bag of 8.

Features
  • ≤ ±0.05% initial accuracy error;
    e.g. 10K Ω resistor shipped from factory is between 9,995 and 10,005 Ω at 23°C
  • ≤ 5ppm/C max temperature drift; e.g. 10K Ω resistor changes ≤ ± 0.5 Ω after its body changes 10°C
  • 0.125 Watts maximum power dissipation @ 70°C before permanent damage; i.e. voltage across resistor times current (Amps) through resistor must be < .125
  • 300V maximum voltage across resistor before permanent damage
  • 0.1" diameter x 0.25" length
    (2.5mm dia x 6.3mm length)
  • RoHS compliant (little or no lead)
Specifications
  • ≤ ±0.01% error from extreme short time overload (i.e. > .125Watts for short duration, Mil 10509-4.6.6)
  • ≤ ±0.02% error from extreme thermal shock (i.e. very fast temperature change, Mil 202-107, -55°C to 85°C)
  • ≤ ±0.04% error from running at full 0.125W power for 40days at 85°C (Mil 55182-4.7.17)
  • ≤ ±0.08% error from extreme moisture and temperature cycling (Mil 202-106)
  • ≥ 100M Ω minimum resistance between outter surface of resistor and internal signal
  • -55°C to +150°C device temperature range before permanent damage
